I love 888 Great Wall! It's the perfect place to grab cheap and fast takeout. Whenever I visit, the staff is helpful if I have any questions and always friendly. I generally get the spicy beef fried rice and it always hits the spot and stays hot until I get home. Highly recommend if you live in the east end!

I stopped in here a week or so ago for a work lunch to take back to work. It's conveniently located across from the Paddock Shops and next to Kroger. I called ahead, and they had my order ready when I arrived about ten minutes later.
I ordered Mongolian beef and crab Rangoon, which is my standard Chinese go-to. The crab Rangoon was fried golden and very full. It wasn't very sweet, but had a nice flavor. However, they didn't provide any dipping sauce and they really needed some. I wish I would've looked in the bag that they had sealed, so that I would've known and could've at least grabbed some duck sauce. The Mongolian beef did not taste right. The flavor wasn't bad, it just wasn't Mongolian beef. Something was missing flavor-wise. I ate a little bit and then gave the rest to my co-worker. He liked it, but had never had Mongolian beef before and had nothing to compare it to.
They were very friendly and efficient here. They have a very convenient location. I would consider coming back, but I'd have to order something else besides my favorites, so I'm not sure. -

Placed a pick up order for bourbon chicken and all we got was some questionable chicken. No glaze or sauce or nothing.

This place is ok if you have a hankering for Chinese food. Truth be told, I haven't found a go-to spot for carry out in this part of town. When I just want a small soup with a combo meal (ie, nothing fancy), there's a spot closer to downtown that gets it perfect. Still, if it's he only thing that you want is a hot and sour soup with an egg roll, chicken and broccoli with a side of fried rice, this place will do in a pinch.
Both times they have not included silverware with my carry out meal; maybe it's possible to grab it around the corner from the register in the restaurant, but they've never indicated that when I've picked up my food.
So, i may swing by again at some point, I'll just see where I am when my Chinese food craving hits. -

Pretty darn tasty Chinese. Small hole in the all joint on the East side of Louisville.
I hit a lot of these places when I'm traveling all over the Midwest. Hot and Sour Soup was a bit of a miss, but I'm picky about that.
General Tso's decent. Cheap, good portions. Probably would hit again if I'm back in the area.
